TechFlow reported that Mojang Studios, the developer of Minecraft, has requested an independent fan-run PC server operator to remove its Bitcoin-based play-to-earn feature (which pays players in Bitcoin, offering P2E functionality).
According to reports, the private server, named Satlantis, will remove the play-to-earn feature at 12:00 PM Eastern Time on Monday. Founder Dineno advised players to withdraw their balances as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Dineno stated that the model of sharing profits with players has worked well and that this feature will be transplanted to other gaming communities.
