Regarding the Dencun test timeline, Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko expressed concerns, noting that if Dencun cannot be launched on a public testnet before the Ethereum developer conference Devconnect in November 2023, mainnet activation might be delayed until next year. Developers broadly support launching Dencun first on the Goerli testnet, followed by attempts to modify the Dencun specification on the Holesky testnet.
