TechFlow News – Silicon Valley investor and billionaire Tim Draper has launched Draper Goren Blockchain (DGB), a venture studio focused on cryptocurrency, aiming to accelerate innovation in DeFi, Layer 2 scaling solutions, and consumer applications such as gaming and social experiences amid the ongoing bear market.
DGB's founding partners, Alon Goren and David Bleznak, previously invested in Draper’s Web3 investment platform Draper Round Table and serve on the boards of LunarCrush, a social analytics platform, and Ownera, an institutional network for digital securities.
Alon Goren stated that DGB does not intend to operate like Y Combinator or Techstars. Instead, DGB plans long-term collaborations with each startup: "We plan to work with each company for the next 10 years, investing between $25,000 and $100,000 in pre-seed stage startups, focusing on partnering with select entrepreneurs to build companies from the ground up."
