Stephan Apel is an experienced executive and investor with 20 years of experience. He was an early backer and board member of Outlier Ventures before joining the firm in 2016 as the third founding partner and managing partner. Prior to joining Outlier Ventures, Stephan served as a senior investment banker at Merrill Lynch International (later acquired by Bank of America) and Moelis & Company, where he led M&A and equity capital markets transactions for financial institutions and asset management firms.
