TechFlow reported, according to TechCrunch, MotherDuck, a database startup commercializing the lightweight database platform DuckDB, has announced a $52.5 million Series B funding round led by Felicis, with participation from a16z, Madrona, Amplify Partners, Altimeter, Redpoint, and Zero Prime. MotherDuck's total funding has now reached $100 million.
MotherDuck's post-money valuation is $400 million, and the funds will be used to expand its engineering and go-to-market teams.
