TechFlow reports that ABN AMRO has conducted a digital green bond issuance using Polygon to raise €5 million. The green bond was issued via Tokeny as an ERC3643 token.
Tokeny is an infrastructure platform that leverages Polygon to enable financial institutions to issue and manage securities and financial instruments.
Specifically, ABN AMRO raised €5 million for real estate investor Vesteda. According to the bank, Vesteda intends to use the proceeds to refinance "green assets" as part of its corporate green finance framework.
