TechFlow — According to official announcements, OKX's on-chain earnings service has launched support for the Dai Savings Rate (DSR). Users can now stake a minimum of 1 DAI at a reference annual yield of 5% to earn daily returns. The actual annual percentage yield will be automatically adjusted based on real-time conditions of MakerDAO. Users may withdraw funds at any time without trading or service fees. Staked DAI will be transferred into DSR and begin accruing interest according to on-chain rules at 11:00 AM UTC+8 each day. Earnings will be paid out together with principal to the user’s funding account upon redemption.
Notably, MakerDAO’s DSR is a smart contract mechanism that allows users to stake DAI and earn yield, while retaining full and independent control over their staked DAI at all times. MakerDAO generates revenue through stability fees and interest from real-world assets—such as U.S. Treasury bonds—and shares this yield with DSR participants via the DSR rate.
