TechFlow reports that Polygon Labs has proposed changes for the upcoming Polygon 2.0 upgrade, releasing three Polygon Improvement Proposals (PIPs) today. These detail a general roadmap for the transition, the upgraded architecture specifications for Polygon 2.0, and updates to its native token.
Polygon 2.0 aims to build an integrated network of interconnected Layer 2 chains powered by zero-knowledge proofs. The team is seeking community feedback on the proposals, which will be deployed following approval through governance voting. The final Polygon 2.0 upgrade is expected next year.
