TechFlow news: In the lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against Binance, Binance.US, and its founder CZ, Magistrate Judge Zia M. Faruqui signed a temporary order on Wednesday. The move follows a joint motion submitted by Binance and its subsidiary Binance.US to the SEC, requesting a protective order and opposing the SEC's motion to compel discovery.
According to a court filing dated September 13, Judge Faruqui has issued a temporary order scheduling the next hearing for September 18. At that hearing, the judge will hear arguments from the defendants regarding the motion for a protective order filed by BAM Management US Holdings and BAM Trading Services (Binance.US), as well as arguments from the SEC opposing the protective order motion.
