Faruqui signed a temporary order on Wednesday. The move follows a joint motion submitted by Binance and its subsidiary Binance.US to the SEC, requesting a protective order and opposing the SEC's motion to compel discovery.
According to a court filing dated September 13, Judge Faruqui has issued a temporary order scheduling the next hearing for September 18. At that hearing, the judge will hear arguments from the defendants regarding the motion for a protective order filed by BAM Management US Holdings and BAM Trading Services (Binance.US), as well as arguments from the SEC opposing the protective order motion.
