TechFlow news — In a filing submitted on September 6 to the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals, court clerk Catherine O'Hagan Wolfe stated that a circuit judge has denied SBF's legal team's motion to immediately release him from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. SBF's attorneys had argued that he is allowed access to a computer only twice per week, and that issues with battery life and signal significantly impair his defense.
The pre-trial release motion will now be reviewed by a panel of three judges; additionally, SBF's criminal trial is scheduled to begin on October 3 at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
