When withdrawing funds, users must provide the counterparty's wallet type, exchange name, full name, and country of residence; for deposits, the full name and country of residence are required. Transactions may not be processed if this information is not provided.
Coinbase Singapore stated that these measures are implemented to comply with the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s requirements on anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism.
