TechFlow reports, Sebastien Borget, co-founder of The Sandbox, said in an interview with HC News that over 60% of The Sandbox users continue to hold their virtual land parcels after purchase, and more than 30% of landowners express interest in developing their land. Some of these development projects are expected to launch progressively over the next two years.
In addition, The Sandbox plans to continue selling virtual land and has recently launched a new community called "Infinite Pulse," specifically designed for musicians and music enthusiasts. This community will host more than 20 artists, renowned music brands, and record labels, including Warner Music Group.
Borget also mentioned that The Sandbox intends to complete all virtual land sales by the end of 2026. The remaining plots will be carefully planned to build new communities and attract well-known brands and public figures. Following the "Infinite Pulse" music community, The Sandbox will introduce communities themed around film and sports.
