TechFlow news: Galxe, a Web3 credential data network, has announced the launch of Galxe Protocol, designed to give users full control over their own data and identity. Leveraging zero-knowledge proof technology, the protocol enables users to securely and privately own, manage, and share verifiable digital credentials.
The core advantage of this protocol is that data and identity become user-owned assets, empowering individuals to autonomously decide how they are used. Furthermore, as artificial intelligence and autonomous driving become increasingly widespread, personal control over data and identity will grow ever more critical.
Galxe Protocol allows developers to build and use these contracts to issue or verify off-chain credentials. Zero-knowledge proofs enable users to selectively disclose information when necessary while preserving personal privacy.
In addition, Galxe Protocol aims to improve upon the current Galxe model by breaking its functionality into independent yet interdependent components. The protocol involves four main roles: credential holders, issuers, verifiers, and credential type designers.
