TechFlow reports that the decentralized exchange PancakeSwap has launched on Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution supported by Consensys.
PancakeSwap stated that Linea will help users reduce gas fees, accelerate transaction speeds, and improve capital efficiency. As an Ethereum Layer 2, Linea preprocesses transactions on its own network and then batches transaction data onto the Ethereum mainnet, enabling faster transactions and lower costs.
PancakeSwap will offer trading and liquidity mining features on Linea. Over the coming months, it also plans to introduce additional functionalities such as Farms and the IFO platform.
