TechFlow news: Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp announced it will terminate Ethereum staking services for U.S. customers effective September 25, citing current U.S. regulatory dynamics.
Bitstamp U.S. CEO Bobby Zagotta stated that U.S. customers will cease earning staking rewards, while all other Bitstamp services remain unaffected. Customers will continue receiving staking rewards until September 25, 2023. After this date, all staked assets will be unstaked, and both rewards and principal will be credited to users' main Bitstamp account balances.
