TechFlow, Merit Circle, a gaming guild, recently announced that the Beam mainnet is now available to the first batch of game developers.
At this stage, the Beam network uses a Proof-of-Authority mechanism and enhances the Snowman consensus protocol to ensure blockchain integrity. Contract deployers must go through multi-signature approval to access the chain.
Mheit Circle stated that this operational model facilitates fine-tuning of network configurations. Ava Labs and Merit Circle will provide the nodes required to run the network. After completing the trial phase, Beam will transition to a Proof-of-Stake mechanism.
