TechFlow reports that Singapore police recently conducted simultaneous raids nationwide, arresting 10 foreigners suspected of money laundering and document forgery—most of them Chinese and Cambodian nationals. Another 12 individuals are assisting with investigations, while eight remain at large.
The operation seized assets worth approximately 1 billion Singapore dollars, including over 115 million in cash, real estate, vehicles, electronic devices, jewelry, and 11 documents containing information on virtual assets. Funds in related bank accounts have also been frozen.
The 10 individuals, none of whom are Singapore citizens or permanent residents, are suspected of using forged documents to launder money for overseas criminal syndicates. They face multiple charges, including money laundering and document forgery.
Singapore police stated they will continue their investigation and may seize additional assets and accounts.
