TechFlow reports that French lawmakers are drafting a customized bill targeting NFTs and establishing safeguards for digital objects with monetization potential in virtual games. An agreement on a new set of rules regarding NFTs in Web3 gaming could be reached within months.
The framework, known as JONUM, has already passed its first reading in the upper house of the French parliament. It was transferred to the National Assembly in July, where legislators will discuss it after the summer recess.
