TechFlow reports that BNB Chain has announced the release of mainnet version v1.2.9. This update introduces the Plato and Hertz (Berlin, London) hard forks, which have already undergone comprehensive testing on the testnet and are now ready for mainnet deployment.
The Plato hard fork is scheduled to be deployed on August 10 (block height 30,720,096), while the Hertz hard fork is set for August 30 (block height 31,302,048). BNB Chain reminds all validator and full node operators to upgrade their software to version v1.2.9 before August 10.
