TechFlow news, according to Reuters, Ricardo Macieira, Worldcoin's Regional Manager for Europe, said the project aims to expand its operations and attract more users globally, while allowing other organizations to use its iris-scanning and identity verification technology.
He noted that companies could pay Worldcoin to use its digital identity system. For instance, a coffee shop could leverage Worldcoin’s technology to ensure each person receives only one free coffee without collecting personal data. Additionally, Macieira revealed that the iris-scanning technology will be open-sourced in the future.
