TechFlow reports that Uniswap has removed the HEX token from its interface following the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) labeling it as an unregistered security earlier this week. The HEX token is now listed under the "unsupported" tokens section on Uniswap's interface, which typically indicates that the protocol considers the token to involve "trademark infringement, proven scams, or other legal concerns."
Although Uniswap has removed the token from its interface, this action is limited to the frontend—HEX can still be traded via the decentralized protocol.
