TechFlow news: Ripple has released its Q2 2023 market report. The report states that Ripple's XRP is divided into two categories: one is the XRP currently available in wallets, and the other is the XRP locked in escrow (which will be released monthly over the next 42 months). Ripple does not have access to this escrowed XRP until it is released by the escrow agent each month. Most of the released XRP is then returned to escrow.
As of March 31, 2023, the total amount of XRP held by Ripple was 5,506,585,918, with a total of 42,800,000,013 XRP held in escrow; as of June 30, 2023, the total amount of XRP held by Ripple was 5,551,119,094, with a total of 41,900,000,005 XRP held in escrow.
