TechFlow news: Web3 domain and identity platform SPACE ID announced the upcoming launch of SPACE ID 3.0. This new version aims to enable every community to launch their own Web3 top-level domains, supported by enhanced platform infrastructure and governance structures.
SPACE ID 3.0 includes a permissionless, all-in-one issuance toolkit, a Web3 domain SDK, and a Domain Dashboard—empowering projects, communities, and individuals to easily launch their own domain services. The Space ID 3.0 upgrade will roll out in multiple phases over the coming weeks.
SPACE ID stated that the DAO will play a central role in the governance of SPACE ID 3.0. ID token holders will gain expanded governance rights and responsibilities, including determining the legitimacy of top-level domains and setting required verification standards. Staking ID tokens will be required prior to using the SPACE ID 3.0 protocol and tools. Protocol fees collected from top-level domains launched on SPACE ID 3.0 will generate additional revenue for the DAO treasury.
In addition, SPACE ID 3.0 partners will include, but are not limited to: Sei, Injective, ZetaChain, PancakeSwap, KuCoin Community Chain, Gnosis Chain, and Opside.
