TechFlow reports that gaming guild Merit Circle has announced a collaboration with Delabs Games to launch a new game titled Rumble Racing Star. As part of the partnership, the Merit Circle DAO has invested $100,000 in Delabs Games.
The closed beta test for Rumble Racing Star will run from August 1 to August 7.
Rumble Racing Star is a casual racing game where players compete against each other on lawnmowers. Players can race using either the original Rumble Racing Star roster of drivers or popular profile picture (PFP) projects. Each driver comes with unique abilities, and strategic advantages may give players an edge over others. Players can experiment with various strategies to discover their optimal winning combination, factoring in elements such as individual skills, chosen driver, special characteristics of the lawnmower, and track conditions.
The game will be free-to-play and feature traditional monetization mechanics like in-app purchases, along with an optional blockchain-integrated layer. It will offer various competitive modes and tournaments where players can spend and earn different currencies and blockchain assets.
