TechFlow News — Yves La Rose, founder and CEO of the EOS Network Foundation (ENF), announced on Twitter that ENF is preparing to file a lawsuit against major investor Block.one (B1) for "failing to fulfill its $1 billion investment commitment."
La Rose stated that after rejecting a $27.5 million settlement offer from lead plaintiff Crypto Assets Opportunity, Block.one is now attempting to settle another class-action lawsuit for $22 million.
According to La Rose, the U.S. class-action lawsuit, originally filed in 2017, remains ongoing. To join the ENF-initiated litigation, parties must first opt out of the existing U.S. class action. The deadline to file claims or opt out of the U.S. class-action lawsuit is August 23, 2023.
