TechFlow news — According to Reuters, the UK's national data regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, said it will conduct a further investigation into Worldcoin, a project co-founded by OpenAI's Sam Altman. A spokesperson for the agency stated: "We are aware of Worldcoin’s launch in the UK and will be conducting further investigation."
Worldcoin launched on Monday, reaching 2 million test users, and the cryptocurrency project is expanding its iris-scanning operations across 20 countries.
