TechFlow news: The Optimism ecosystem is currently developing a fault-proof system for the OP Stack, which includes key components such as Fault Proof Program (FPP), Fault Proof Virtual Machine (FPVM), and Dispute Game.
The decoupled design of FPP and FPVM allows the same execution procedures to run not only on the FPVM but also on ZKVMs. This facilitates the OP Stack's Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK) implementation of validity proofs and enables low-latency cross-chain bridges across different networks.
In addition, Optimism plans to introduce an alpha version of the fault-proof system to a testnet for testing purposes.
