TechFlow news: Injective, a smart contract platform in the Cosmos ecosystem, has announced a collaboration with blockchain infrastructure company Espresso Systems to pioneer a decentralized rollup solution. Espresso Systems will integrate with Cascade's testnet, marking a milestone in Injective’s journey toward establishing a fully decentralized sequencer framework for Injective rollups—without sacrificing the ultra-fast speeds users rely on. If testing is successfully completed, mainnet deployment is set to begin in early 2024.
Notably, Espresso Systems is a protocol that enables the creation of decentralized rollup sequencers, while Cascade is Injective’s first Solana SVM rollup and supports the broader IBC ecosystem.
