TechFlow reports that blockchain video delivery network Theta Labs has announced a partnership with POG. Theta Labs and POG have teamed up to build a POG subchain on the Theta Network. This subchain, known as POGCHAIN, will feature TNT20 tokens and NFT digital collectibles residing on the Theta Metachain. These collectibles will be exclusively available through Theta's patented POG Collector platform. POGCHAIN will enable fans of all ages to interact with POG collectibles, play partner games using Pogs, and utilize Pogger Coin within a secure and transparent environment.
POG Digital also announced the release of its first Collector's Box in 25 years, as part of celebrating its one-year anniversary in the web3 space. Each box contains 48 unique art pieces updated from the POG archives, verifiable on the Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin blockchains.
Notably, POG was one of the most popular children's collectible games of the 1990s. According to Wikipedia, POG once had a user base exceeding 165 million and generated millions of dollars in revenue weekly. The game was originally called Milk Caps but later gained popularity under the name POG.
