TechFlow news — Bitget launched its platform token BGB in 2021 at an initial price of $0.0585. It is currently trading at $0.47, representing a gain of over 703% since issuance. On the occasion of its second anniversary, BGB's market capitalization has surpassed $650 million.
Bitget is launching special two-year celebration events, including daily airdrops for BGB holders, community airdrops, sharing stories about "My Journey with BGB," and winning a Tesla Model 3 through derivatives trading. The event runs from July 12, 2023, 16:00 to July 27, 2023, 24:00 (UTC+8).
Prior to this, Bitget updated the BGB whitepaper, introduced multi-address deposit and address book features, added a service allowing users to waive withdrawal fees by staking BGB, introduced a new BGB utility right called "Super Airdrop," and is considering implementing a future BGB buyback and burn mechanism.
