TechFlow news: Credit Suisse has partnered with the Swiss Football Association to launch an Ethereum-based NFT collection aimed at supporting Swiss women's football.
According to information from Credit Suisse, the NFT collection features 756 digital art portraits of players from the Swiss women's national football team and will be exclusively sold via Credit Suisse’s CSX app from July 11 to August 31. This marks Credit Suisse's entry into the NFT space.
In February this year, Credit Suisse led a $65 million Series B funding round for Swiss digital asset firm Taurus. Taurus also serves as the technology partner for the NFT marketplace within Credit Suisse’s CSX application. Specifically, Credit Suisse uses Taurus-Capital for issuing and managing the lifecycle of the Swiss Football Association NFTs, and Taurus-Protect for secure NFT storage. According to the announcement, these NFTs have been deployed on the Ethereum blockchain network through Taurus' infrastructure.
