TechFlow reports, according to Finsmes, that Outdid, a London, UK-based provider of privacy-preserving identity verification solutions, has announced the completion of a $2.5 million seed funding round led by Jump Crypto, with participation from Superscrypt, Matias Woloski, Martin Varsavski, Gaston Frydlewski, Santiago Siri, Pia Mancini, Emanuele Francioni, Simeon Simeonov, Pressian Karakostov, Luis Cuende, Stefan George, Can Kisagun, Harsh Rajat, Alexi Ned, Bogdan Stanciu, EOhao, and Questbook Investments. The company plans to use the funds to expand its operations and business reach.
Outdid offers a privacy-focused identity verification tool that leverages zero-knowledge proofs to verify original government-issued documents without requiring intermediaries to validate and certify them, thereby resolving the tension between privacy and verifiability.
