TechFlow news: Web3 multi-chain wallet BitKeep recently released version V7.3.7, enhancing its signature authorization security mechanisms and risk warnings, particularly by adding alerts for risky eth_sign signatures. According to BitKeep's official statement, some phishing websites have been abusing the eth_sign function for blind signing fraud. To ensure user transaction security, BitKeep has implemented proactive risk alerts to warn users accordingly.
BitKeep has also strengthened protection against risky domains, phishing sites, suspicious deposit addresses, and malicious contracts. By collaborating with third-party security agencies and integrating open-source libraries such as GitHub and Go+ security address databases, BitKeep can identify phishing websites and over a dozen types of high-risk addresses and contracts. The system provides risk detection and warnings when users connect their wallets or perform authorization signatures, reducing the likelihood of financial loss.
