Claims will begin on June 28 at 16:00 Beijing time. MAV token airdrop claims will be available on both Ethereum and zkSync Era chains. veMAV tokens will be available on Ethereum and zkSync Era. Users can obtain veMAV by staking MAV through the claim workflow.
Regarding the total allocation of the Maverick Ecosystem Pre-Season Incentive Program, this airdrop distributes 30 million MAV tokens, representing 1.5% of the total MAV supply and 4.9% of the combined liquidity mining and airdrop allocation. A total of 26,155 Ethereum wallet addresses and 96,075 zkSync Era wallet addresses are eligible to claim MAV in the initial airdrop. The wallet address snapshot for participants in the Maverick Ecosystem Pre-Season was completed on June 23 at 04:00 Beijing time.
In addition, within the next 30 days, a governance incentive program will be launched for all veMAV holders, who will receive governance reward incentives. Those who stake MAV to obtain veMAV will qualify for additional voting incentives provided through the governance incentive program. The snapshot for the governance incentive program will take place on July 28 at 04:00 Beijing time. Users holding veMAV at the time of the snapshot will receive a pro-rata distribution of 10 million MAV, which will be automatically staked for four years, granting them additional veMAV.
