TechFlow news: According to official announcements, the OKX Web3 Wallet has launched a Bitcoin transfer UTXO management feature. When transferring BTC, users can now view and manage UTXOs occupied by Ordinals inscriptions through this function, thereby unlocking BTC liquidity. Currently, the OKX Web3 Wallet is the first multi-chain wallet to support this feature simultaneously on both mobile and browser extension platforms.
It is reported that with the development of the Ordinals ecosystem, an increasing number of Bitcoin inscriptions have emerged. Some UTXOs occupied by abandoned Ordinals inscriptions may render portions of users' balances unusable, preventing normal BTC transfers. This new feature allows convenient viewing of Ordinals-inscribed assets currently occupying UTXOs, enabling users to easily manage their UTXOs by releasing or restoring them. However, it should be noted that once released, the UTXO will be treated as regular balance and spent accordingly; users must confirm that any NFT contained within the UTXO being released is indeed an abandoned asset.
