TechFlow reports that MachiBigBrother, also known as 黄立成 (Jeremy Lin), has filed a lawsuit against on-chain investigator ZachXBT, accusing him of defamation over posts made last year claiming that Jeremy Lin misappropriated 22,000 ETH from a project, causing significant reputational and financial damages. According to the complaint filed by Lin's legal team, ZachXBT not only continued publishing defamatory articles on Medium but also maliciously promoted these allegations to his more than 300,000 Twitter followers.
Currently, ZachXBT has requested donations from his followers into a dedicated wallet set up to cover legal expenses. The wallet has reportedly received nearly $400,000 worth of cryptocurrency in contributions.
