TechFlow news, on June 8, according to TheBlock, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Taiko, based on zkRollup, has recently raised $22 million in two seed funding rounds.
The first round concluded in the third quarter of 2022, led by Sequoia Capital China, raising $10 million.
The second round was recently completed, led by Generative Ventures, raising $12 million.
Other participating investors include IOSG Ventures, GSR, and GGV Capital, along with several prominent angel investors such as Patricio Worthalter, founder of POAP, Tim Beiko from the Ethereum Foundation, and Anthony Sassano.
On June 7, Taiko launched its Alpha-3 incentivized testnet. According to Taiko's official announcement, this testnet focuses on decentralized, Ethereum-equivalent ZK-EVM components.
