TechFlow news — Stablecoin service provider Stably has announced the launch of Stably USD, the first dollar-backed stablecoin on the Bitcoin blockchain. This BRC-20 token, symbolized as #USD, aims to become the preferred payment method for trading Ordinals and other BRC-20 assets.
By offering low-friction on- and off-ramps while maintaining stable value, #USD has the potential to make transactions smoother and more convenient. Each #USD token is fully backed 1:1 by U.S. dollars held in a collateral account managed by a U.S.-regulated custodian, serving the interests of KYC/AML-compliant token holders.
KYC-verified users can issue and redeem #USD across multiple platforms, including Fedwire, SWIFT, USDC, and USDT, covering over 200 countries and regions. Additionally, the stablecoin will have a maximum supply cap of 69.42 trillion.
