TechFlow reports that MakerDAO is voting on a proposal requiring its representatives to conceal their identities and whereabouts. MakerDAO will offer a "whistleblower bounty" to any member who can provide evidence that a representative's identity has been publicly disclosed.
Founder Rune Christensen said the change aims to ensure that "potential attackers, bribers, etc. won't know which companies or individuals to target."
The governance page shows that the proposal is part of MIP 101, currently under vote and set to conclude in 14 hours.
Meanwhile, a software engineer has left MakerDAO due to concerns over the bounty policy.
