TechFlow News — On April 14, Huobi partnered with TRON to host the "Huobi Night" event in Hong Kong. At the event, TRON founder and Huobi Global Advisory Council member Justin Sun announced: “Live on Mars with Huobi!” Huobi officially launched its "Mars Initiative," a series of space exploration activities. The first phase of this initiative aims to send a lucky Huobi user to Mars, starting with a program that will select one user to join Justin Sun aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket for a suborbital spaceflight. Justin Sun stated, “Huobi's dream lies among the stars and oceans, and our vision spans the entire universe. Together with our users, Huobi will embark on this journey through the Mars Initiative to explore the unknown cosmos! Huobi users will become the first group from the Web3 space to enter outer space.”
The "Mars Initiative" consists of 12 phases, during which 12 candidates will be selected. Through pre-mission training, physical examinations, and other criteria, one finalist will ultimately be chosen to join Justin Sun in space. Throughout the campaign, Huobi will distribute raffle entries to users in the form of NFTs; users gain eligibility by completing designated tasks. After distributing all raffle entries, winners will be fairly selected using blockchain hash values to ensure transparency and fairness. Additionally, Huobi will distribute tens of millions of dollars in rewards to participating users.
