TechFlow news: The temperature check vote within the Uniswap community on the proposal regarding "cross-chain deployment and creation of a new uniswap.eth subdomain after expiration of the Business Source License (BSL)" has concluded, passing with 100% support.
According to the proposal, Erin Koen, Uniswap Foundation's newly appointed Head of Governance, stated that after BSL expiration, designating an official Uniswap V3 deployment for each chain would be beneficial to ensure user security and clarify Uniswap governance. Additionally, to align with the recommended governance process following BSL expiration, the Uniswap Foundation proposes creating a new ENS subdomain, v3-deployments.uniswap.eth, to track official Uniswap V3 deployments across L1 and L2 chains.
Previously, it was reported that the commercial protection period (under BSL) for Uniswap V3 core code expired on April 1.
