TechFlow news — Web3 NFT gaming platform Gameta announced the completion of a $5 million seed round led by Binance Labs, Huobi Ventures, Arcane Capital, Ceras Ventures, StartVC, Gate.io Labs, W3Coins, Redline Dao, DefinanceX, Rana Capital, and Infinity Labs.
Since its inception in 2022, Gameta has amassed over 7 million on-chain users. The platform currently ranks first in active users on BNB Chain and is a winner of Binance Labs' Most Valuable Builder program. In its latest NFT game, Hippo Dash, Gameta maintains a user retention rate exceeding 40%. Built around its gaming ecosystem, Gameta has established the Hippo Club NFT system, enabling users to play games, socialize, share experiences, and interact with Web3 assets. Through the Hippo Club NFTs, Gameta aims to lower entry barriers so that every user can experience the cultural, financial, and entertainment value of NFTs, positioning the Hippo Club series as a mass-market version of "BAYC."
Gameta will use the funds to accelerate the development of its gaming ecosystem, token, and NFT infrastructure, aiming for further user growth leaps within 2023.
