TechFlow news — On March 24, Polygon officially announced that the zkMeta team will build a GameFi-dedicated zk-rollup on the Polygon network, leveraging Polygon zkEVM, Supernet, and related technologies to provide an optimal infrastructure ecosystem for high-DAU gaming projects. In addition to the dedicated gaming L2 network, zkMeta has introduced six web3 game development kits: MetaID, NFT Toolbox, CheckStand, TradePlace, MetaDAO, and Tournament, empowering game developers to deploy highly playable, frequently interactive games.
Era7, a leading TCG card game, will be the first web3 game on zkMeta to benefit from Polygon's ZK technology. This solution is expected to significantly reduce Gas Fees required for user interactions and optimize response speed, fundamentally enhancing user experience in areas such as blind box openings, card summoning/generation, and competitive gameplay systems. The Era7 team has completed its first phase of compatibility testing and will next reconstruct parts of its game interaction logic and deploy NFT contracts onto the zkMeta testnet.
