"Our 'algorithm' is too complex and not fully understood even internally. People will find many silly things, but we'll patch them immediately upon discovery! We're developing a simplified approach to deliver more engaging tweets, but this work is still in progress—and it will also be open-sourced. Code transparency may be embarrassing at first, but it should rapidly improve recommendation quality. Above all, we hope to earn your trust."
