TechFlow News — Arbitrum has published a blog post announcing the formation of the Arbitrum Security Council, a 12-member multi-signature composed of community representatives. In emergency situations, with participation from 9 out of the 12 members, the council will be able to act swiftly. The Arbitrum DAO will serve as the ultimate governing body for the Arbitrum Security Council.
Additionally, Arbitrum has unveiled Arbitrum Orbit, which will allow developers to easily and permissionlessly launch their own Layer 3 blockchains within the Arbitrum ecosystem. Developers launching L3s on Arbitrum One and Nova will automatically receive free and perpetual licenses to use, modify, and customize Arbitrum technology for their L3 chains. Arbitrum Orbit L3 chains will also support the upcoming Arbitrum Stylus, enabling developers to use C, C++, and Rust programming languages, in addition to Solidity and other EVM-compatible languages, for their chains.Source link
