TechFlow News — According to FastCompany, Matchday, a Web3 interactive gaming and entertainment startup, has announced a $21 million seed funding round, with investment from Lionel Messi's fund, Play Time.
Matchday combines Web3 and mobile gaming to create a suite of FIFA-licensed soccer games. Sebastien de Halleux, Matchday’s Chief Gaming Officer, said he believes true ownership is crucial in creating a new range of experiences for gamers, and aims to bring hundreds of millions of fans into Web3.
