TechFlow, Ethereum Layer 2 solution Optimism announced that the hard fork for Optimism Goerli is scheduled for release in March, with the exact date to be announced next week. This upgrade will improve the Bedrock developer experience by fixing inconsistencies in certain system transaction receipts within the API. Although this bug is developer-facing and does not affect user funds, a fork is required to resolve it. In preparation for the upgrade, updates to op-geth and op-node will be released in early March, followed by fork activation in mid-March.Original link
Users do not need to take any action and will not experience any disruption or downtime. Partners and projects running nodes on Optimism Goerli will need to upgrade their nodes when the op-geth and op-node updates are released.
