TechFlow news, Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) announced on Twitter that the Shiba Inu Layer2 network Shibarium will launch in beta mode next week.
According to reports, Shibarium is designed similarly to other Layer2 scaling solutions such as Polygon (MATIC), aiming to address scalability, speed, and fee issues on Ethereum. Its native token BONE will be used to pay for gas fees. Shibarium will focus on metaverse and gaming applications, and its launch could help advance the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
The Shibarium scaling solution will use BONE as its governance token, with all gas fees within the ecosystem paid in BONE.
Earlier, Shiba Inu's lead developer Shytoshi Kusama responded in the Shiba Inu community channel regarding the undisclosed exact release date of Shibarium: "I can't provide any specific details. I don't have an exact date because the launch of Shibarium isn't something flipped on like a switch."Original link
