TechFlow news — On January 30, in response to自媒体 reports claiming "Huobi platform leaked customer information to tax authorities," Huobi stated that this incident is unrelated to the new Huobi, and it has no knowledge of whether the matter referred to by自媒体 is related to the old Huobi.
Sun Yuchen, a member of Huobi Global Advisory Committee, also posted on X stating that Huobi is headquartered in Seychelles and operates in the Caribbean region. Huobi will not share any customer information with tax authorities unless through international judicial assistance procedures.
