TechFlow News — Gateway, a Web3 credential protocol, has raised $4.2 million in funding led by Reciprocal Ventures, with participation from 6th Man Ventures, Spartan Group, Figment, and angel investors including Sandeep Nailwal of Polygon and Ryan Selkis of Messari.
Since its inception, Gateway has issued over 500,000 certificates, more than 300,000 of which have been minted as NFTs.
Founded in 2021 by Rahman and Sanket Jain, Gateway aims to decentralize the issuance and management of credentials. The protocol stores credentials on Arweave and currently supports Ethereum-based credentials, with plans to integrate Solana in the future.Source
